Our Bands and Groups

 

Bands are a great way for people become music friends and spend time together! We have bands for all ages and all levels, and each band is customized to the members‘ goals and abilities.

In the bands, you will find vocals, guitars, bass, and keyboards, with occasional guest appearances from our trumpet and woodwinds students.  All the bands perform at our rock venue DiPiazza's in Long Beach.

Bands, Vocal Groups and Artists Programs are the most fun.  They put to practice what you’ve learned in your private lessons, you will enjoy making music, as part of a group, or as your personal act. Playing in a band improves musicianship and teaches you how to support other musicians while you are all playing your favorite tunes, or learning new music. You will play both as a soloist and as a supporter, which are very different roles in a band.

School Age Bands & Group

Rock Band

This band formed to play classic and current rock.  It's a mix of middle and high school students.

Indie Rock Ban

This is our long running High School Band, currently doing lots of Independent Artists, quirky pop and rock.

Pop Rock Band Band

This is our youngest band, aging 10 to 14 years old.  They perform a huge amount of pop and rock songs.

 

Young Independent Artists Program

These young artists are learning by doing their craft - now.  We write, perform, and record music, drop content, get backing tracks and charts together for backing musicians, do marketing & social media, and support each other.

 

Adult Bands & Groups

Adult Rock Band – Dark Horse

Our Adult Rock Band has evolved through many members. While rocking their interests and abilities, and having fun, the band is improving musical skills together. Led by coach Zac, the band is an intermediate level.  They play many artists such as Fleetwood Mac and others.
